The Board of Education has approved the temporary relocation of the Oakwood Elementary student population to the South Elementary School building. This will allow the Oakwood facility to be fully vacant for planned renovations.

Oakwood students in Pre-K through 5th grade will be assigned to South Elementary. Oakwood self-contained classes (PK - 5) will be assigned to Dillard Middle School, where appropriate spaces and resources are available to meet their needs.

Additional details regarding transportation, daily schedules, arrival and dismissal procedures, staff workspaces, and transition timelines will be communicated as information becomes available.

South Elementary staff, under the leadership of their principal, will begin planning internal room adjustments to best accommodate Oakwood classrooms. Oakwood staff, under the leadership of their principal, will also begin planning and organizing materials, classrooms, and resources that will need to be moved accordingly.

Our Secondary Driver of the Month for April is Kelley Dickerson (with Asst. Principal Dr. Shaw in the picture). She has been driving for Caswell County Schools for 1 year and has been a dedicated driver and employee. Congratulations.
