PBIS

The South Elementary School PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) program is based on the belief that, at South Elementary, Our EAGLES SOAR.  With this in mind, we collaborated to develop our PBIS Matrix based on this premise and what it means for our EAGLES to SOAR.  Each day our students are reminded of our PBIS Matrix through our Eagle Pledge which is recited each day during the morning announcements.

EAGLE PLEDGE:

Today, I will show EAGLE PRIDE.

I will practice Self-control

I will have an Outstanding attitude

I will Accept others

I will be Responsible and Respectful.

Together, we will SOAR into a new day!

 

In addition, we reward students frequently through assemblies, donated prizes and other activities as rewards for positive behavior.  We want our students to understand there are positive consequences for positive behaviors.
